Abstract

Abstraksi

Abstract

Deaf students might have difficulties in learning especially Mathematics. Mathematics achievement is student’s performance in learning mathematic. Regarding mathematics achievement, self regulated learning (SRL) is considered to be one of the important factors that contribute to mathematics achievement. SRL is defined as student’s  ability to activate and focus their thoughts, feelings, actions and plans to achieve their learning goals. This study aims to determine the relationship between self regulated learning and mathematics achievement of deaf students in SMALB/B X. Participants in this study are 37 deaf students in SMALB/B X. Self regulated learning scale is used to measure student’s self regulated learning while mathematics achievement is measured using daily mathematics tests and midterm exam scores. The results show that r = 0,585 (p<0.05) means that there is a significant relationship between self regulated learning (SRL) and student’s mathematics achievement in SMALB/B X. Schools should design self regulated learning training program for the students in order to optimize student’s mathematics achievement.
