Author Guidelines

  1. Articles are comprehensive reports of important original research results that have not been published in any printed or online media, nor have they been submitted to another journal for consideration.
  2. Manuscripts must be written in Indonesian or in English with good grammar and without spelling errors.
  3. If the manuscript is written in Indonesian, all foreign terms should be written in italics.
  4. Manuscript must be written in accordance of “MANUSCRIPT WRITING GUIDELINES IN WIDYA TEKNIK.”
  5. Template for the manuscript is available in Microsoft Word document format in the ARTICLE TEMPLATE link.
  6. The manuscript must be submitted in Microsoft Word document format.
  7. Title should be written in Times New Roman 12pt and in all capital letters. The rest of the text should be in 10pt Times New Roman. The first line of each new paragraph should have a right indentation (first line indent) of 0.75 cm.
  8. The abstract should be presented in both Indonesian and English, single-spaced, with a 10-point font size.
  9. Title of manuscript must be followed by the author(s) and the respective institution(s) or affiliation(s).
  10. Figures, pictures, graphics, photograph or tables must be numbered with Arabic numbers.
  11. Picture/ photo format must be a clear black and white picture (not shiny) and neat.
  12. The reference list must follow the Vancouver style.
  13. References must consist at least ten recent articles from reputable journals (preferably last 8 years) and some other types of sources
  14. DOI for references must be provided when available.
  15. The editors reserve the right to edit the manuscript as long as the meaning of the text is not altered.
  16. The manuscript must be submitted only via ONLINE SUBMISSIONS email submission will be rejected.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. DOI for references must be provided when available.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:
1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in journal.
2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal.
3.
